About the Software Application PravahaSim: Vidyutik Urja Prabaha - PravahaSim is a power system analysis simulation software developed by the research team of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Durgapur, India. It can perform power system studies such as Power flow, Contingency analysis, Fault studies, Power system stability analysis, Large-scale RE integration studies, etc. The developed software is GUI-enabled and user-friendly. The majority of the features of this software package can be downloaded for free.
About the Software Application NiyantraSim: Vidyutik Urja Prabaha - NiyantraSim is a software which provides a complete interactive platform for control system modelling of different power system components. It is GUI-enabled and allows users to drag and drop control blocks, set parameters, connect different power system components and run detailed simulations. NiyantraSim supports reheat, non-reheat thermal power stations, hydro power stations, DFIG, PMSG, MPPT control, inertial and droop support from wind power plants, etc., modelling. The tool also supports users in determining different control strategies to be implemented during any contingencies in a large-scale RE-integrated power systems.
